Tandem Marketing Gets Creative


We are all getting ready for a very creative year in 2012.

Tandem Marketing has been appointed to deliver the Marketing Campaign for the Maritime Mix-London 2012 Cultural Olympiad by the Sea which will take place from 3rd May - 9th September 2012. This creative celebration is set to be a once in a lifetime experience for all residents of and visitors to the only host borough of the 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games outside the capital.



We're also working with the Creative Coast team to communicate the huge influence that this UNESCO World Heritage Site has had and will continue to have on creativity.

And finally welcome to our two new members of staff; Laura Mulhern and Becky Joiner. Team photos will be coming soon on our new website.

Tandem Marketing to Deliver iCoast PR & Marketing

Last week Tandem Marketing pitched for and won the contract to deliver the PR & Marketing for an exciting new interactive website, http://www.icoast.co.uk/ . The website will enable local people and visitors to the area to plan and carry out recreational activities along the Dorset coast and within its coastal waters. This is the first time that coastal recreational activity has been bought together as a web-based hub and describes activities, where they occur, how the public can participate and most importantly presents codes of conduct which protect the environment and increase safety for all coastal users.

2011 Dorset Seafood Festival PR Campaign Reaches Over 4 million



Tandem Marketing has just delivered the national PR Campaign for the Dorset Seafood Festival reaching 4.4 million people. Coverage was secured in The Times, The Independent, The News of the World, The Guardian, Conde Nast Traveller, BBC Solent and a range of local media. Record sales were enjoyed by all stall holders and plans for the Dorset Seafood Festival 2012 will soon be underway.

Tandem Marketing in Macedonia

Last week Lisa Worthington went to Macedonia to meet Tandem Marketing's new client Meridiano Foods. Producers of some of the most incredible authentic foods, based on traditional Macedonian recipes, they are utterly commited to delivering the most incredible and robust flavours across their product range. Tandem Marketing is going to be developing a brand fit for the UK food market, ready to be launched in September at Speciality and Fine Food.

River Cottage's John Wright & B+B Weymouth

It's been a busy time for one of our clients the B+B Weymouth. First it was a visit from the Swiss sailing team for Sail for Gold, followed by a press trip for seven Australian journalists on a pre-Olympic trip. Thanks to the Dorset Piddle Brewery, Mr Filberts, Perry's Restaurant and Weymouth & Portland partnership for showcasing the exciting food, drink and cultural developments that are taking place in the area. In a couple of weeks we have a private seashore forage with River Cottage's lovely John Wright, who now has a Guardian blog that you can follow http://bit.ly/mucZki.
